Information About Jenna - Albany tutor

Personal Description:

Hi my name is Jenna! I have recently completed my Bachelor of Natural Resources Engineering with Honours degree at the University of Canterbury, and am now a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer working on the North Shore, Auckland.

I was awarded the top academic student at Kristin School, attaining NCEA DUX in Year 13 and Year 12, as well as the top student in NCEA Mathematics and Science. I attained an Excellence endorsement in Level 3 Calculus, Level 3 Statistics, Level 3 Chemistry, Level 3 Physics, Level 2 Chemistry, Level 2 Physics, Level 2 Mathematics and Level 2 Biology.

Tutoring Experience:

Whilst studying in at university in Christchurch the past four years, I have tutored mathematics and science subjects to high school NCEA Level 1-3 students on a weekly basis. Since relocating to Auckland this year, I am now looking for a new pool of students to tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a friendly, encouraging and patient tutor. I tailor my lessons to suit individuals according to their specific learning styles. I have a clear methodical approach, which makes challenging content clear and easy to understand. I believe in practice makes perfect, and that anyone can achieve their academic goals with hard work and the right mindset!
