Information About Jane - Napier tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Jane and I live in Napier. I am an ESL teacher and primarily teach Academic and General IELTS. I love helping students reach the IELTS score they need for permanent residency, university entrance or professional registration. I have lived and worked overseas and originally come from England. I love singing with a choir, walking and eating delicious food!

Tutoring Experience:

Over 25 years teaching international students, migrants and refugees to New Zealand. I have taught at private language schools, EIT (Hawkes Bay) and English Language Partners. I have a postgraduate diploma in Second Language Teaching and originally studied as a primary school teacher. I have taught students at all levels from beginners to advanced and can teach IELTS, PTE and general English skills.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make learning English interactive and fun. I believe everyone can achieve their English goals. I am patient and explain tasks in a clear way that helps you understand more. We work as a team. If you live in Napier I can offer lessons at my home or teach you online via Zoom. I am happy to tailor lessons to suit your learning goals whether they are social, educational or work based.
