Information About Jane - Napier tutor

Personal Description:

Hi I am originally from the UK but have lived in NZ for nearly 30 years. I have travelled a lot and love meeting people from different cultures. I have hosted many International students at my home and really enjoy doing this. I love travelling, walking and sing with a local community choir. I also love cats and living in Napier.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught ESOL for 18 years and worked with International students and migrants to NZ in private language schools and privately one on one. I am experienced at teaching learners from beginner to advanced levels. I am an experienced IELTS teacher and have taught NZCEL exams. I have also helped prepare learners for work life and study in NZ.

Tutoring Approach:

There is no cost for the first lesson as I want to spend time getting to know you and find out what your English language goals are. This helps me plan interesting and relevant lessons for you. I believe learning should be enjoyable and my lessons are well organised and clear so that you can follow and understand. I am flexible and can teach at your home, my home or a library. It is important for you to feel comfortable. I am patient and supportive and want to help you succeed.
