Personal Description:

Hi there, my name is Flossie!

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Human Resource Management and have worked as an Associate for international finance firm Deloitte.

I'm currently completing my Masters in Health Science conjoint with a Bachelor of Nursing.

I'm passionate about business and science, and want to share my experience gained in both professional and academic environments.

I know how stressful schooling can be, and have learnt and developed strategies to efficiently deal with all the associated challenges. I like to make tutoring fun and engaging for my students, and want to empower them to achieve to their full potential. I hope you'll join me!

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience tutoring throughout both university and my professional role at Deloitte. Throughout university, I tutored international students in English, as well as helping them assimilate to a very new environment. At Deloitte, I gained invaluable experience coaching both interns and new graduates starting in Auditing.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is about student empowerment. Every student learns differently, and has different struggles in their learning. I like to engage individually with each student, and empower them through their unique learning style to reach their full potential in their studies. I also understand that this is not necessarily achieving excellence in every assessment.

I truely loved school and the learning process and I want to share that love of knowledge with other young people, and make a difference in their learning. I see my role as a tutor both to help my students in their studies, yet also to support them in developing their individual passions in whatever capacity that may be.
