Personal Description:

Graduated from the University of Auckland with Bachelor of Commerce degree (majoring in Accounting & Finance).

Employed at Ernst & Young, one of the Big Four Accounting firms. My daily work deals with lots of numbers and data, and it is an integration of some Maths, Accounting and Finance.

Besides work, I am passionate at teaching in the area that I loved and would drill down deep. Trilingual capability, excellent conversational and writing skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Great interpersonal skills that able to interact with people in a professional manner; Problem-solving skills and able to handle conflicts or difficult problems during studies. These skills are gained from previous tutoring experiences and regular voluntary working. Punctual and committed.

Tutoring Experience:

Six-year experiences tutoring for intermediate and high-school maths and business-related subjects. I provided private tutoring lessons at high school and at the University.

Since I provide maths tuition within FirstTutors, I have received feedback with 5/5 so far.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that tutor is the role of leading, the way to get good score is all about how hard the student put in their work. As a tutor, I personally love writing notes during the process of learning, because I think as you write down the points, it is the way you review the things that studied and able to have better understanding. Every time I finished teaching, I would love to give out some exercises questions for students to do them themselves which is the way to refresh their memories of learning, and the questions would not be lots and by doing a few questions link to the topic, very useful!!!
