Personal Description:
I am an experienced (30 years of teaching secondary school students) and approachable and friendly tutor. I can do one to one tutoring as well as group classes. I teach Mathematics, Chemistry and Science. I can bring out the best in a student.
Tutoring Experience:
I am an experienced teacher of Secondary and Pre-University level Mathematics and Science. I was teaching the Cambridge A Levels and IGCSE Mathematics and Chemistry for 30 years. I had also tutored NCEA and IB students in Mathematics and Chemistry.
Tutoring Approach:
I use an investigative and student-centred approach in my teaching. I will first find out the level and learning style of of the student and teach him/her according to his/her ability. I use a time trusted drill method as well especially in Mathematics and an investigative approach in Science. Practice and trials of past years questions is much used too.
