I'm Wellington born and raised - I attended Wellington College, and immediately afterwards in 2017 shifted to Christchurch where I obtained a Bachelor of Engineering with first-class honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury (UC).

Tutoring Experience:

For three of my four years at UC I tutored local high school students in maths and physics, through a holiday programme organised by UC's Pasifika Organisation. I also tutored an engineering first year maths paper and a second year civil engineering 'fluid dynamics and hydraulics' paper.

Tutoring Approach:

Studying, regardless of what level you're at can be genuinely fun. But, when you're struggling with a subject it can be overwhelming, not to mention de-motivating and sometimes boring. When I was struggling to understand concepts or certain problems, I found that the most helpful solution usually involved talked to someone with more experience who was patient, clear and down to earth. That's what's worked best for me and so, that's my approach too.
