Personal Description:
I am English speaking, born in the UK, and emigrated as a young adult to NZ twenty years ago. I have a natural understanding and an affiliation with children to bring out their best in their learning abilities.
Tutoring Experience:
Since 2019 I have been teaching ESOL via Zoom and Google Classroom or in person. I am currently working at a local College as an ESOL teacher. I tailor each lesson with content most relevant to my students.’
I am also a Teacher Aid at a private primary school supporting two children with special needs in Maths and English.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach at primary, college and adult levels. I tailor each lesson with content most relevant to my students’. This includes children-friendly lessons for young learners and middle schoolers through to topical issues for teenagers and world issues for adults.
