Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Andy and I'm a guy who is very willing to tutor a student for a long period of time and help the students improve steadily with time. I'm a first year university student, studying BCom and LLB. And I am capable of teaching Mathematics (both statistics and calculus), Japanese, Chemistry and Physics, and Korean.
I have done particularly well in CIE IGCSE math, chemistry, biology, physics all A*, and as of Japanese I achieved Excellence in almost all of the internal and externals during high school.

Tutoring Experience:

I have just graduated from Auckland Grammar school and I have received many tutorials during high school. I was never an official tutor, however I was asked to tutor junior students one off or for a set number of times while I was in school.

Recently. I have been working as a Food and Beverage Duty Manager at SkyCity, and I was responsible for training the new Baristas and Bartenders. This experience has added more variety in the students and the styles that I have taught.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that each student has different ways of motivating themselves, and different methods of studying the subject. I want to respect their method as much as possible and make them as much motivated as possible. Moreover, the students needs to study on their own, and utilise their tutors for additional support after school, so that they can perform slightly better. And the tutor should not be their main source of learning.
