Hi, I am Amram. I am incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. I have a very patient attitude, and I can explain the most difficult things in the simplest of ways. I genuinely believe that everyone has A*s in them that they can attain with little guidance and hard work. Also, I am conscientious and enjoy the satisfaction of helping someone improve and achieve levels of attainment that they did not think they were capable of doing.
Tutoring Experience:
I started teaching ten years ago and gradually started getting many more students than I had anticipated, mainly because of my methods and explaining the most challenging areas in the simplest ways. I use everyday examples to explain complicated topics. I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds for almost all examination boards, including AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR, MEI, IB, JEB, CIE, WJEC, etc. As well as this, I have also tutored students who are homeschooled.
I do past papers with students from the last 10-15 years, and I make sure that my students know all the exam solving techniques thoroughly and have complete knowledge to master the subject.
I have taught more than 600 students all across the UK, the US and other European countries with majority (85-90%) achieving A grades.
I only do online sessions now.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to tailor my tuition depending on the student's individual needs as I understand and respect that each student is unique. The first step I take in my approach to tutoring new students is understanding and assessing their strengths and weaknesses.
I use different styles and methods of teaching depending upon the student's ability and attitude. My primary approach is to listen to the student's problems and help them come to the correct solutions to ensure that they understand and are involved in each step. I give my students the necessary confidence to ask questions without hesitation and often use everyday life experiences to explain subjects. I am inclined to use the reduction method. i.e… breaking down a large problem into small parts to make it understandable when I feel it is appropriate. This method is beneficial when dealing with maths and science. I have seen remarkable results in students when using this approach.
Through my tutoring experience, I have learned that the main reasons students achieve lower grades are lack of knowledge, lack of exam practice, lack of time management skills during actual exams. All of these factors lead to LOWER SELF CONFIDENCE. So I would emphasise the above aspects in my tutoring practice to give my students the maximum opportunity to attain an A grade because I am not willing to settle for less.
The prediction papers I give to my students are through my research and diligence. The accuracy of these documents reflects my zeal to get my students A*s.

From Neha (/5): I would highly recommend Amram who was key in helping my daughter achieve an A in her Chemistry A-level. Amram started to tutor my daughter Chemistry at the start of Year 13, when she was feeling less confident about certain topics and was sitting on average C grade. Amram was very responsive and understood immediately where we needed help. He was flexible in finding her a slot and communication was always clear via a WhatsApp group. He has a unique approach which really helped reinforce topics and provided my daughter with visible confidence within weeks, especially in the area of mathematical equations where she was struggling. He would also provide extension work and papers to complete between sessions for maximum results. Highly recommend!!

From Jaswinder (/5): Amram provided tuition for GCSE Maths/Physics for my son for around 6 months. Unfortunately the grades did not improve for my son as I had expected and the chemistry was just not there and method of tutoring did not suit my son. I would prefer a more engaging method of tutoring instead of the majority of the lessons being set up like an exam.I am sure he is a very successful tutor for a lot of students but it just didn't work out for us.

If past papers are anything to go by, my son has already improved his grades considerably with only a few tutoring sessions under his belt. For anyone like us having to travel more than just a few miles to reach Amram, rest assured he is less than 5 minutes from the M4 and it is well worth the trip!

From Pratibha (/5): Amram has been the most motivating and caring tutor for Vivek! We had Amram for three A-level subjects after a poor set of AS results in Maths/Chemistry/Physics. He brought the best out of Vivek and made him believe in himself… Amram monitored Vivek's work and progress frequently and set appropiate exam questions which he originally struggled in. We had Amram through Skype, however Amram set many exam questions through Whatsapp to keep Vivek on his toes. Amram listened to Vivek and dealt with his needs with patience and understanding. Amram managed to bring Vivek's chemistry AS grade from a D in both exams to an A overall in both AS and A2 within a year, which is outstanding! Maths was also outstanding!We are so proud to count him as a friend and I would recommend everyone to be the tutored by Amram.

You have taken the time to really understand where her knowledge was lacking and almost ,just as importantly taught her in a way which absolutely suits her style of learning . You have made the subject (economics ) so current and relevant and the use of examples and with your humour ,have made the subject come alive . Despite only seeing you once a week , you are always there to answer questions or assist with any queries , whether by phone , email or what's app… your teaching doesn't finish at the end of the lesson , it's as if you are there all the time ! Cannot begin to express how glad we are to have found you as a tutor . Incredibly , Lauren is now considering studying some form of economics at university , such is the enthusiasm you have created around the subject for her . Thank you so much Amram.

My son achieved 9 A* and writing that Amram has immensely contributed to his success would be an understatement, he was literally home schooled by Amram. My Daughter got her A-level results last week and she managed to get 2 A* in Math and chemistry subject which were also taught by Amram. A very gifted,hard working and intelligent young man,but to us he is a blessing.

From Susan (/5): Amram has taught Physics and Maths to both my daughter at AS level and my son in GCSE. We had tried 3 previous tutors but my kids were not happy and alot of time and money was wasted. I really felt that Amram was a God sent right after the first lesson as both my son and daughter seemed to instantly connect with him and told me they understood him completely. So pleased with my daughters A grade and I am confident my son will get A too when the GCSE results are out. Highly recommend.

Amram taught me both Physics and Chemistry the two subjects I have always struggled with but his explanations are so good and the way he breaks down difficult areas is just unbelievable even my school noticed the change in me. He is very patient and knows how to make it easy for the student.
He likes too much tea.

He gets on to the child's level and inspires them - I thought Toby would resist coming back from school and then doing another 2 hours work - but he actually really enjoys the sessions! quite amazing! From Robert (/5): I am extremely pleased with the maths and economics tutoring that my son is receiving from Mani as he now seems to be really understanding how to answer exam questions. Mani instantly recognized how to make the subject more interesting and explains things very well. My son is very happy with his tutor and I am sure any child would be if their teachers have the competence and ability that Mani does.

From Elizabeth (/5): In the last 16 months I have at least hired 6 tutors all of them qualified and I must say expensive charging £30-40 but my children kept failing before Mani as he likes to be called started tutoring my children I did not think much of this lad initially but in a week I realised he is special and today the results are out and both my children have scored an A . As a mother who values the future of her children I would highly recommend him. Thank you so much.
