Information About Amit - Christchurch tutor

Personal Description:

I am passionate about teaching and enabling students to learn and excel at subjects they drear. As a high school student, I too had difficulties with subjects like Science and Mathematics but only until I met a few of my private tutors. They developed a liking within me for these subjects and also left a strong teaching impression on my psyche. I recently graduated from the University of Canterbury.

Tutoring Experience:

During my study at the UC, I tutored for a course (Feb 2019 - Jun 2019) and helped students to conceptualize concepts on it, carry out their tutorials and assignments.
Prior to joining the UC, I tutored groups of individuals and students on certain well-being and concentration techniques. I have tutored individuals 5 to 60 + years of age.

Tutoring Approach:

I first understand the extent to which the subject needs to be taught or its course curriculum and then review the same. I then like to understand the student's difficulty with the subject and take an instructional cum cataclysmic approach to teach the subject. Finally, I assess the student if and to the extent that is required so that they get confident.
