Kia Ora… Hello… I am Amir, a very kind and friendly person, a tutor and engineer, who like teaching and do love Maths… I have been living in beautiful NZ for several years and I love it.
I have bachelor and master degree in Civil Engineering and Hydrology and PhD degree in Science (Waikato University).
I have a great skill to link Maths concepts to problem solving.
And my hobbies are Art and Sky Sports… My native language is Persian, and I also speak in English. I can understand Kurdish language and know a bit Arabic too, as I love learning different languages…
I have been teaching Maths for almost 20 years as a private tutor and a university lecturer
1- To know about my student's interests and hobbies
2- To know about the level of her/his Maths knowledge
3- Understanding her/his strength and weakness points and focus on weakness parts
Sessions will be 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Year 7 - Year 10 : $35 / Session
Year 11 (NCEA, L1) : $40 / Session
Year 12 (NCEA, L2) : $45 / Session
Year 13 (NCEA, L3) : $45 / Session
University : $55 / Session
Session with Two or Three students can be arranged with affordable discounted price

I did the best during few weeks just before your University exam. I shoud say you put your best effort too.
The most important thing for me is that you feel more confident in yourself with Math. I think the level of your knowledge in the Algebra and Calculus was good and it got better. You are in your first year of the University and you will graduate in next two years with a great mark in Engineering degree.
