Personal Description:
Currently, I am the Head of Department at a local school. I taught at four different schools throughout NZ. My last school was Hamilton Girls High School. I am a pioneer member of the Physics teachers group in Hamilton. Currently. I am on a science-refreshed group (NCEA refreshed curriculum)
My wife is also a teacher

I have taught L1 to 3 physics and L1 and 2 math for number of years—scholarship Physics.
I have also taught general Science
I have taught in South Auckland, Taupo region.
In the classroom, I am a creative and a passionate teacher of Science and Physics.
I’ve always been a dedicated teacher with the ability to adapt resources and strategies according to individual and group needs.
I am committed to the idea of reflective practice and further developing and challenging my own philosophy of teaching.
My experience as a husband has equipped me with skills to effectively deal with student problems relating to conflict and resolution.
I am a committed sportsman and I am dedicated to contributing to the extra-curricular activities of the school. I pass on my skills as an ex-professional soccer player and a provincial athlete to the students I coach.
I enjoy being fascinated by science.
Tutoring Approach:
I very keen on teaching always come down to student level. I have tutored several students. The schools include Hamilton Boys High, Hillcrest High, Cambridge High, St Pauls, Waikato Diocesan and St Johns College. I have knowledge of all the standards and schools as what they are doing. I also have online platform to teach where they don’t need to come to me to do face to face interaction. I use variety of learning management system to suit the students need. They are either NCEA or Cambridge specific. I have about 20 years of teaching experience.
