Personal Description:
¡Hola!
My name is Patricia and I am from Madrid, Spain. I am a young teacher with a BA in Translation and Interpreting, an MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and I am a DELE examiner (levels from A1 to C2).
I have been working abroad as a Spanish teacher for almost 10 years, I love traveling and living in different places but above all, I am passionate about my job.
I consider myself a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic person and as I love meeting new people, I love teaching students from all ages, nationalities and backgrounds.

Tutoring Experience:
I started working at university level teaching Spanish 10 years ago -language, grammar, translation and conversation classes- in prestigious universities across Europe.
Since then I have also been teaching Spanish as a private tutor offering one-to-one online lessons in which I customize my lessons to my students' needs, covering all levels from Beginners to Experts.
Approach to Grinds:
I follow the Communicative method, giving my students the opportunity to put into practice these 4 main skills: listening, writing, reading and speaking.
In order to motivate my students, I usually choose current topics which are of their interest and I always adapt my classes to their learning needs. I know that not everyone learns the same way and that making mistakes is part of the learning process.
As a tutor, I always try my best to create a good atmosphere in class giving my students self-confidence and most importantly, we definitely have fun!

On top of seeing how your Spanish has progressed, how you expressed your ideas about complicated or controversial topics and how you became aware of your own mistakes, I really enjoyed our weekly lessons.
Your nice and opened personality resulted in a great class atmosphere which I always find very valuable.

Had been my spanish tutor for over 3 years and i could not recommend her enough. Her passion for teaching spanish is contagious and has made learning it truly enjoyable. I admired the way she created a supportive learning environment where she made me feel comfortable asking questions. Patricia was so funny and kind that it quickly changed from having conversations with my tutor, but to having conversations with my friend.
