Information About Valerie - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I have just finished my BSc in Biomedical Science in UCD and I am now completing a MSc in Business in Trinity College Dublin. I have a lot of experience in writing personal statements and cover letters for both programme entry and job applications, gaining conditional offers for medical science in the University of Edinburgh and an interview at Kings College London for medicine. I believe the best thing about tutoring is seeing a positive result in my student's work and hope to serve as a mentor for my students helping with questions they may have about university life and courses.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been trained by The Verze Academy, who have a 100% satisfaction rate from students, of which fmy own students (8) studying Science, English and Maths have given me 100% satisfaction rate, all jumping up at least two grades.

Approach to Grinds:

I have a "problem-solution" approach to grinds where the student presents what they are struggling with before we arrive at the class and I go through the solution with them on the call. This can either be specific questions or a wider topic.
The second part of the class will involve going over key concepts that are definitely needed for the exam.
Online tutoring is preferred as students can opt to have their solutions recorded and sent to them so that they can review it as many times as they need to.
