Information About Valentina - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

Hi! I'm Valentina, I'm 25 years old, an ESL teacher from Chile. I am a language and literature lover, so I have experience in both in different areas, which I try to provide my students. When I am giving private lessons I like to be able to help my student in any way I can, providing them the help they need in the specific area they require, according to their learning styles. This has contributed to my adaptability, multitask,
organization and problem-solving skills.

Tutoring Experience:

I have approximately 4 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language. As self-employed, working online to support my students’ needs, in EF Language school giving classes to B1, B2 and C1 students, and in 3 schools giving classes (second graders to tenth graders). I have also worked as an Spanish tutor, and as a Writing skills tutor.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach consists of breaking down complex topics into simple, everyday language, in a way the student can later use and understand its usage. My goal is to help students learn how to learn, and that they understand the framework for tackling one topic. In this way I can show them what they're doing, why they're doing it and how they know it's the correct thing to do.
