Personal Description:

My name is Sarah and I am a 4th year Electronics and Computer Engineering Student at Trinity. I enjoy maths and I am passionate about helping people find interest in the subject too.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching a variety of lessons to students preparing for both their Junior Certificate and Senior Certificate exams. I am passionate about teaching and take pride in making my classes engaging and enjoyable, even for students who may not initially find the subject appealing. I am committed to making math accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their past beliefs about their abilities.

I tailor my approach to each student, recognizing that learning styles and personalities vary.

Here’s my general approach:

Identify the topics the student finds challenging, then collaborate to create a plan that works for both of us.

Use the school’s textbook alongside the Junior/Leaving Certificate syllabus.

Assignments and end-of-topic questions (optional, as this method works better for some students than others).

Monthly review of past paper questions on the topics we've covered.
