I am a qualified, experienced maths teacher.
I am a patient and conscientious person.
I live Mayo with my wife and 2 teenage sons.
Tutoring Experience:
I have many years experience teaching up to higher Leaving Cert Maths. I am currently working in Sancta Maria College in Louisburgh Co. Mayo. I am registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland and I am fully Garda vetted.
Approach to Grinds:

PatrickFrom Lily (5/5): (Junior Cycle Maths) Patrick is an excellent educator. He explains Junior Cycle maths questions very well and prepares the student for the pressures of an exam situation. I highly recommend Patrick as a maths tutor.

From John (/5): (Junior Cycle Maths) Constantly rescheduling, never actually provided any lesson, something obviously not quite right with this Tutor:
Cancellation 1: Says his head is not in the right place.
Cancellation 2: Says he has not broadband / electricity.
Cancellation 3: Says he has to go to his sons play.
Proceed with caution.

Reply from Patrick: I am very sorry that John was not happy. I offered John's son a free 1 hour lesson but I was not able to proceed due to storm Isha which knocked out our electricity for 2 days. The same storm meant that my son's school play was moved so I asked John if it was ok to rearrange the free lesson to 2 days later. He was obviously not happy with this. I tried to sort it out with him but he did not reply to my email. I think that John's criticism is very harsh. I am still happy for John to contact me and come to some arrangement.
From Kate (/5): (Senior Cycle Maths) Patrick was very helpful in tutoring me. I needed to familiarise myself with maths again as I was out of school a couple of years. He was helpful in answering any questions I had. He went through individual topics that needed work and then additional links to questions and revision. I passed my exams with the help that I received. Would highly recommend.
