Information About Padraig - Rathcoole tutor

Personal Description:

I’m a maths tutor based in Firhouse, specialising in one-to-one Higher Level Leaving Certificate Maths grinds, delivered in the student’s own home. I’ve been tutoring for over five years, and in 2025 I graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from TUD. I also hold a master’s degree in engineering from DCU.

I’ve two children who completed the Leaving Cert in 2023 and 2024, and are now both in college. Having gone through the process with them, I understand first-hand the pressures and challenges students face — from managing workload to dealing with exam stress and the unpredictability of the marking schemes. 5 Years provides grinds in the locality, initially with the children of friends and neighbours before branching out to paid grinds.

Approach to Grinds:

I focus exclusively on Higher Level Leaving Cert Maths so that I can stay fully focused on the curriculum, exam trends, and the needs of senior cycle students.
