Personal Description:

Owner of Spanish School Online.
Based in Bray Co. Wicklow but originally from Spain. Passionate, enthusiastic teacher with a love for languages. All levels; Casual, Junior Cycle, Leaving Certificate… From my own experience, I am aware that learning languages can be a difficult task . However I can fully empathise with the student and help to gain the confidence neccesary to speak Spanish through fun and innovative ways.

I hold a Spanish Education bachelor’s degree along with a certificate from an accredited institution to prove my advanced level of English.

Worked with the schools to input into the school's predicted grading system in LC 2020.

Tutoring Experience:

6 years teaching in different educational fields. Giving Spanish Grinds has given me a great sense of achievement and has allowed me to me work constanly on the improvement of the techniques to teach this language. My aim is not only to help the students to learn the language but also to find entertainment in the learning of the same one.

Experience in different intitutions and schools; Exam Focus Ireland, Teacher Perfect, Olé School, Hewit College, Languagemind school, Instituto Cervantes, Renaissance Academy.

I have also helped some companies create content for the Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to Grinds is to create a confident and warm athmosphere between student and teacher. I believe that the most important thing to consider when learning a new language is to feel comfortable and confident about it, so one of my aims is to assure this in my class through fun activities such as role plays or games.
I will always check the level of the student before planning the lessons to acommodate the class to the individual's needs.
The class will be divided in different sections to ensure the pupil obtains a wide and equal knoweledge considering all parts of the exams (in the case of the junior or leaving certs).

We will focus on your weaknesses and common areas of mistake in order to develop a competent, confident pupil with a strong hold of the Spanish language.
