Personal Description:

I am an experienced Spanish teacher, having taught the language for 8 years now. I lived in Spain for several years and have a native-level fluency as I hold a C2 qualification in the language, which is the highest level a non-native speaker can reach.

I love learning languages and use strategies which have helped me learn languages in my classes.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching Spanish for 8 years in secondary schools in Ireland. Over this period I have also done grinds both in person and online.

I am an examiner for the State Exams for the last number of years, including the Orals and Written/Listening Leaving Cert Exams.

I have had a large number of students achieve top marks both in Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert Examinations.

Approach to Grinds:

Given my experience teaching and particularly correcting Junior and Leaving Cert Exams, I know what it takes to be successful in the exams. I cater the classes to whatever need the student requires and will use strategies and methodologies which have worked for me and my students in the past.

The notes I use are all my own and are specifically targeted towards common grammar/vocabulary and thematic units which come up in the Junior and Leaving Cert Examinations.

I am also open to group grinds, if of interest.
