Personal Description:
I have a degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and a masters in education for Biology, Maths, and Junior cert Science from Maynooth University. I currently teach Maths and Science in Kildare.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 8 years experience tutoring Higher Level Leaving Cert Biology, and Junior Cert Science and Maths. I have previously worked at a private coeducational boarding and day school in New York where I tutored in high school maths to kids with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and ADHD. More recently, I taught MYP Math and Science at an international school through the IB curriculum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and I am currently teaching in Kildare.
Approach to Grinds:
I encourage an exam focused approach to grinds and I think that grinds should allow the student to work at a pace that suits them and feel comfortable to ask questions openly. I wish to focus on particular parts of the course that the student is having trouble with and for them to gain confidence with the material.
