Personal Description:
My name is Kate and I am a second year Physiotherapy student in Trinity College, Dublin. I am extremely interested in helping others in the areas of Biology and Science but would be glad to give anyone a hand if I can. I am flexible regarding times and would be delighted to help if I can.
Tutoring Experience:
I have tutored a group of second year students with learning difficulties in maths and English from 2008-2011. I have also tutored Primary school children (Junior Infants-2nd Class) in basic maths and working with numbers as part of a 'Number Worlds' teaching programme. I also gave grinds to 2 Leaving certificate students last year in Biology.
Approach to Grinds:
I usually approach the grind from the perspective of the student and focus on the way they like to learn and what they would like to learn from the session. I also supply notes on the particular area of study for that session. I also engage in interactive learning, encouraging the student to become more at ease with the subject.
