Personal Description:
I'm Joana and I'm a Civil Engineer with a master in Hydraulics from Tenico Lisboa (in Portugal).
Im living in Ireland for almost 3 years now.
I have tutored students in Maths and Science in Portugal before I came to Ireland, and we were able to achieve good results.
Tutoring Experience:
Had 3 students in Portugal:
. 1 from Primary School who I helped with all subjects specially Maths
. 2 from Junior Cycle who I helped with Maths and Science.
Approach to Grinds:
In the past what I have done was having a flexible schedule to adatp the calendar to the student test.
I would bring extra exercises from different books/websites and explain/help the student to solve them.
I would usually give extra homework just to organize their study time when I wasnt him them.
I would be available for questions any time by phone.
This is the approach I want to apply here, having an engagement with the parents to undertstand whats the best approach for the student.
