Personal Description:

I am a recent graduate of UCD, where I achieved my BSc (Hons) in Science, with a specialisation in Physiology. I achieved 5 As in my Junior Cert (2015) and 500 points in my Leaving Cert (2018). I am patient and friendly, and a total nerd! I look forward to meeting you and helping you to achieve your goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a years experience helping students through their exam year (last year). I also took maths grinds for my Leaving Cert and studied German outside of school in a private grinds-like environment so I understand the importance of a welcoming, educational environment. I helped a friend achieve his goals in his Junior Cert English exam last year and routinely do the homework routine with my cousins (ages 6-12).

Approach to Grinds:

I remember how daunting it was going into someone else’s house to expose my vulnerabilities so I aim to provide a warm, safe environment for you to learn in. (Cup of tea, anyone?) Together, we will recognise the main difficulties and go from there. The hour will consist of two-way conversation, encouragement and the teasing out of ideas. One short homework question per week (I don’t want to add extra stress).
