Information About Jack - Bray tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Jack , and I am a young student that has recently completed my 1st year of Law in Trinity College Dublin. I am a highly sociable and outgoing person with a strong conviction for achieving academic success, within all levels of education. I am looking to share this ambition for academic progression with current students of all levels, and am sure I can assist anyone struggling with a Junior Cycle or Learning Certificate topic to thrive in the near future. I myself achieved the highest achievable grade in my own Leaving Certificate, 625 points, and therefore have an abundance of knowledge for these subjects and notes to share with potential future students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored family members for many years now, and also have outside teaching experience with the Together Academy, with whom I worked with young adults with Down Syndrome for multiple months. Whilst I have yet to give out tutoring in a professional setting with regards to second level education, my vast experience in extremely similar environments makes me extremely capable of executing such a task to a student's desired extent.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach towards teaching grinds revolves entirely around the final exam itself, whether that be the Junior Cycle or Leaving Certificate. My sole intention is to ensure that my tutees achieve the highest grade possible in their subject, and therefore my teaching revolves around preparing students for topics likely to appear on the exam, analysing past papers with extensive detail, and ensuring that my tutees are aware of the crucial methods of attaining the highest grade possible for each question. Whilst a broad understanding of the subject topic at hand is of course essential for achieving success in second level education, it is my intent to triumph in the exam itself that helped myself to achieve such a triumph in my own exams, and will help a current student to follow the exact same path of success.
