Personal Description:
Hello I am Gráinne. I am a mainstream class teacher and an assistant principal of a medium sized urban school.
Tutoring Experience:
I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2015. I commenced working as a resources/learning support teacher for the 2015/2016 school year. I taught 2nd and 3rd class from 2016-2019. I have been teaching 6th class since 2019. I have worked and volunteered in schools since 2008.
Approach to Grinds:
I would approach grinds by firstly making sure the child feels comfortable with me. I would ensure I choose resources/activities that will engage the child fully in the subject/task. It is difficult to specify an approach to grinds for all children as each children is different and each child will require different methodologies and strategies to help them learn.
