Personal Description:

Hello!
My name is Giulia. I was born and raised in Italy, but I have been living in Ireland for four years. I am really passionate about languages and I can speak fluently English, Italian and French. I am a Linguistics and Philosophy student in Trinity College Dublin and an English as Foreign Language teacher (EFL/ESL) qualified through CELTA.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching languages for the past two years, both privately and in classroom settings. I have given private grinds to Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students and private lessons to adult language learners. I have also been working as ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher with adults and children in both private and classroom settings.

Approach to Grinds:

When I give private lessons, I like dedicating the first part of our first meeting to a quick chat with my student (and their parents/guardians, if needed), to understand their individual needs . From then on, I try to prepare material which is suited for my student needs. My goal is to make my lessons as personally tailored as possible. I really like to give my students space to express doubts and concerns and work specifically on those.
