Personal Description:

BIOLOGY HPAT ENGLISH MATH I am a diligent, hardworking student who approaches all challenges head on. I enjoy dissecting and deconstructing complex problems and ideas so that I can find the simplest method to understand them. I am presently studying Science in UCD and have an avid interest in Biology. I got H1 in English HL, H2 Maths HL and H2 Biology HL. I recently sat the Hpat to give myself more options and received a score in the 94th percentile. My strongest section was section 2 where I scored in the 99th percentile.

Tutoring Experience:

I was a leader (cinnire) in an Irish College (gaeltacht) two years in a row. This consisted of teaching my students everyday functional Irish for three weeks and trying to improve their fluency in the language without the use of any English. I also have taught piano lessons for over a year now as I have my grade 8 done.

Approach to Grinds:

I believe that questions and curiosity are the key to getting high grades. I welcome all questions and incorporate a 10 min Q&A in each grind session. Everything is easier to learn when we firstly understand it. I recommend intensive shorter periods of study that engages with our memory rather than endless hours spent resulting in fewer results.
