Personal Description:

I am a fully-qualified post-primary teacher of English, History, Geography and English as a Foreign Language (ESL). To complete my undergraduate studies, I attended Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. Thereafter, I completed my Higher Diploma in Post-Primary Education with Hibernia College, Dublin.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over nine years’ experience working in a post-primary school, and teach a variety of classes in all my listed subject areas at both Junior and Senior Cycle. I have worked as a State Examiner at Leaving Certificate level. I have also got experience of working as an ESL teacher in Spain, where I worked in a private language school.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to tuition is strongly tailored to meet the requirements of each pupil. Whether you wish to achieve an A/H1 grade, or simply want to pass a subject you are finding difficult, I will plan our sessions to suit your needs. Each of my subject areas are heavy in terms of the content that students are required to cover. My aim is to provide students with ways and means to overcome this workload in an organised and achievable manner. Of course, tuition must also be exam focused and reference to previous exams papers will be made regularly.

Classes are offered in person or in small groups via Zoom. Rates per hour via Zoom are more favourable if students are prepared to work in small groups.
