Sorry all , currently booked up until the end of May. Please give some of the other tutors here a try. Give me a shout if you're looking for a tutor from June going forward , I also give grinds over the summer. Thanks. /// Hi all , I give maths , chemistry , physics , applied maths and science grinds. My fee is €30 for 60 mins or €40 for 90 mins. I'm available all year round and I am based in Kilcock. I can drive to your home for no extra fee pretty much anywhere in Dublin. I have a Degree and a Masters in Astrophysics and a Masters in Education. I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher , registered with the Teaching Council and Garda vetted. I am currently working in a secondary school (Gaelcholáiste) in Lucan as a support teacher for maths , physics , chemistry , and general science. I teach through Irish and offer grinds in both English and Irish. As I mentioned I can drive to your home or you can come to mine if it suits you better. Sorry but I don't do online grinds. Finally I should also mention that I do have a speech impediment due to a motor neurone condition.
Tutoring Experience:
I have experience teaching maths , chemistry , physics , applied maths and general science in secondary schools. I tutored physics at university level for a number of years. I have also worked part time for a number of years in a grinds school and have given private grinds for over 20 years.
Approach to Grinds:
I am quite familiar with the various syllabi and structure of the exams. I pretty much know the various textbooks and past exam papers inside-out at this stage. I have my own scheme which I find works very well , but I adapt it to suit the student. After the first lesson I will have a good idea how best to cover the content and we can progress accordingly. I enjoy giving grinds and genuinely want the best for my students.
