Personal Description:

I currently teach leaving cert chemistry. I have been teaching over 12 years and have a proven track record of obtaining outstanding results. Last year 50% of my students achieved a H1 grade. I focus on what is important. I will push students to learn the key information while showing them how to simplify the challenging skills and break down the concepts. It is essential that students know how they will be graded and how their answer needs to be given. I will highlight mistakes that students make and encourage students to adapted a efficient manner of revision. I cannot guarantee a top grade but will ensure my students receive excellent teaching and advice aswell as motivation and encouragement.

Tutoring Experience:

Over 12 years teaching. Currently teach honours Leaving Chemistry but also have taught A level Chemistry also.

Approach to Grinds:

I will focus on exam technique, will work through calculations and break everything down into manageable chunks. I will simplify concepts. We will work using whiteboard and past papers mainly.

My daughter found him to be a very good teacher, both enthusiastic about his subject and well able to teach it. As it has only been one lesson I gave a rating of 4, but if things continue as they have started I will probably be amending that to a 5.

When we needed flexibility with time slots he was accommodating.
He knows his subject matter well but more importantly could make it understood . Moreover he had plenty of ways to make it easier to remember.
I would highly recommend him without hesitation.Additionally had plenty of study tips and sound advice for leaving cert students
