Personal Description:

My name is Cristina and I am experienced and certified tutor of Spanish.

I come from Madrid and between studying and working I have lived over 10 years abroad; I keen on travelling and getting to know different nationalities and cultures.

Moreover I have experience in teaching English (from beginners to intermediate levels: A1- B1) and I can provide grinds for basic German (A1).

Tutoring Experience:

I am an enthusiastic, experienced and certified teacher of Spanish as a foreign language, with over 10 years of experience abroad.

I have spent a number of years teaching Spanish at a language school, companies and private lessons. I focus on helping students prepare for exams. I have taught from kids to teenagers and adults at a language school, from total beginners to advance levels.

Furthermore I hold the certification as an examiner of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) by Institute Cervantes.

My experience with foreign languages also applies to teaching English as well, giving casual lessons in Spain and to employees abroad and taking courses in German language.

Approach to Grinds:

I provide personalized lessons, according to the age, interests, wishes and needs of the student, covering all the skills (grammar, writting, reading, speaking and listening). Yet my principal focus is a communication-based method; from my own experience and most of my students, conversing is typically a very effective way as it emphasises the interaction and use of the language in real scenarios, it motivates the student as they can see they actually are able to transmit messages, it helps to assimilate vocabulary, grammatical rules, etc.

In addition I try my students to learn by having fun, when the learning becomes joyfull is easier to improve.
