Personal Description:
My name is Claire. I am a reliable, patient and hard-working individual. I am a qualified primary teacher with a science degree in Nutrition and a Masters degree in Public Health and Nutrition. I have lots of experience with Maths and Science studying Maths, Biostatistics, Biology and Chemistry at an undergraduate and Masters level. I have provided English and Maths grinds in the past and tutored second year medical students in Biostatistics and Health topics while completing my masters in UCD. I am available Monday-Thursday evenings.
Tutoring Experience:
5 years teaching experience at a primary school level, 6 months tutoring a module at university level. Three years experience tutoring one-on-one after school. I have also worked in after school home club classes for 4 years helping children with homework activities.
Approach to Grinds:
I am good at breaking concepts down step-by-step until the student understands them. Very patient, empathetic with good communication skills. I tailor all lessons to a child's needs.
