Personal Description:
¡Hola! I'm Anna Albiol, I'm from Castelló (a city near Valencia) and I am a Spanish and Catalan teacher at Maynooth University. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting and a masters in Teaching Languages. I am living in Dublin and I look forward to continue teaching languages!
Tutoring Experience:
I have been giving private classes since 5 years ago, and since I got my masters on Teaching Languages I have worked as a teacher in three different high schools in Spain. I have also studied courses related to teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the International House institution.
Approach to Grinds:
I consider myself a flexible person, so my approach to grinds will depend on the student, on their needs and interests. I can adapt my teaching to any type of student, trying to boost their motivation towards the language and the use they would like to make of it. I like focusing on the four skills of language for the learner to have a general idea of every part of the Spanish language, but I do think the oral part would be the most important one, since communication is essential for learning a foreign language.
