Personal Description:
A Warm Welcome
I’m a qualified primary and secondary teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring in Ireland, Dubai, and Bangkok. With in-depth knowledge of both the Irish and British curricula, I specialise in special educational needs, trauma-informed care, English as an additional language, educational technology, and music.
I hold a Bachelor of Science (Education) from University College Cork, specializing in chemistry, science, and mathematics, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Teaching from Mary Immaculate College. I’m also a certified NLP Master Coach and trauma-informed life coach.
To me, education is about more than just retaining information—it's about learning how to learn. I work with students to help them understand their thinking, develop effective study habits, and become independent, confident learners who can carry those skills far beyond the classroom.
Tutoring Experience:
I specialise in a range of support services to meet the unique needs of each student:
Emotional & Personal Development:
Helping students build emotional resilience through emotional regulation, confidence-building, goal-setting, and stress management.
Executive Function Coaching:
Guiding students in time management, organisation, planning, focus, and developing productive study habits.
Gifted Education:
Offering enrichment activities that foster critical thinking, creativity, and emotional growth. I also provide support for heightened emotional sensitivity, helping students manage perfectionism, self-criticism and social challenges.
Parent Consultations:
Providing guidance for parents navigating special educational needs (SEN), emotional or learning challenges, and offering tools for at-home support and positive behavior strategies.
Tech for Learning:
Training students in digital tools (e.g… **E-mail Address Removed**Suite) to enhance schoolwork and revision, making technology an effective resource for academic success.
Transition & Study Abroad Preparation:
Supporting students and families with academic English and cultural readiness for international study, along with helping students transition between education systems or relocate to a new country.

Approach to Grinds:
My approach is centred around building strong, supportive relationships with my students. I bring patience, creativity, and an encouraging presence to every session, creating a space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. When they feel respected and supported, they can truly reach their full potential. Together, we focus on developing effective study strategies, boosting exam preparation, and managing stress. I’ve worked with students from all over the world, including those with special educational needs and emotional or social challenges.
