Information About Ahad - Enniskerry tutor

Personal Description:

Hi I am currently a second year engineering student at Trinity College Dublin. I completed my leaving certificate exam in 2017 achieving 501 points which included a H1 in honours maths and a H2 in honours physics and applied maths. Since leaving secondary schools and entering third level education my knowledge in both maths and physics has greatly increased due to their heavy prevalence in engineering. In 2018/19 I was also lucky enough to be a part of team Eirloop which allowed me to work along side many other engineers and physicists to build a hyperloop pod for the Space X Hyperloop Competition.

Tutoring Experience:

Although I do not have any prior experience giving professional grinds, I do have a younger sister who struggled greatly with maths during her leaving cert which she sat in 2019 and I was able to give her home 'grinds' in order to help her achieve an improved grade. I also am very lucky to be a part of Trinity's Vincent De Paul society, a charitable society where we have many activities one of which involves going to inner city schools and assisting children there with their homework and learning.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds will vary greatly depending on the subject being studied as well as the type of tutee being taught as every student learns differently. Subjects such as maths require a lot of practice and a more practical approach, whereas subjects like physics and chemistry require a student to understand the core concepts and more contextual problems. From my own experiences both in college, and while studying for my leaving certificate, I have learned many techniques and methods to study and learn efficiently.
