Personal Description:

My educational background is B.Sc… & M.Sc… in physics from NUIG and M.Eng… from RTC South.

Tutoring Experience:

I am an experienced instructor & tutor, both online and in-person.

My first teaching project was to provide free lessons to the LC Applied Maths course and solutions to problems from the then textbook. These were published on **Contact Detail Removed**. One of my most viewed videos (What is a Function, available here **Web Address Removed**) - though my recording setup has evolved a lot since.

This expanded to include basic electronics with this playlist (**Web Address Removed**). These proved quite popular.

As an undergraduate student I expanded my content to undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel physics and applied maths. At the time, all my content was available on a stand-alone website which I have since discontinued. My most popular video from that time is a discussion on the Fourier **Removed By Admin** Since my videos proved popular, I began providong tutorials in applied mathematics and physics tutorials at undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel. I did this for 3 years.

Between my bachelor's and master's degrees, I improved my recording setup and thoroughness, actually commencing a textbook. Shortly thereafter however I found myself without the spare-time to continue the project.

Professionally I work as an engineer. Through this I have significant experience as an instructor. I have authored and published 2 professional manuals and 6 educational syllabi.

Approach to Grinds:

While I certainly can assist with homework/problem-sheets, I try to the the basics right. An understanding of the basics is the key to success.

From a language perspective, I know that the much of the terminology can be scary, off-putting and overwhelming. I therefore try to put student at ease. A decent example is perhaps here: **Removed By Admin**
