Information About Abi - Abbeyfeale tutor

Personal Description:

I really struggled with maths in school and now I’m studying maths at a college level so I feel I have a unique perspective to offer any student and clear communication and instruction in chemical and mathematical sciences. Current undergrad, mature student (and ex teacher) in University College Cork studying BSc Physics & Astrophysics. Current areas of study; Organic & Inorganic Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Mechanics, Mathematics. Previously completed leaving certificate & QQI level 5 in Maths, Bio, Chem & Physics.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught outdoor sports for 5 years before switching careers from teaching to the sciences. I possess the ability to teach a variety of clients due to my previous teaching experience. And have obtained good communication and listening skills aswell as the ability to clearly explain concepts and break down difficult problems into simpler terms.

Approach to Grinds:

Areas covered will include the current curriculum with a focus on what the student finds most challenging with an aim to overcome those challenges. Exam preparation and paste exam questions can also be tackled in tutorials.
