Personal Description:
Experienced and qualified tutor holding a Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies. Lessons are backed by strong academic foundations and a passion for critical thinking.
Tuition Experience:
I have several years of experience delivering virtual one-on-one instruction in the Australian and IB curricula, including special education support. As the Founder of Kindred, I focus on nurturing critical thinking in students worldwide. Previously, I worked with Cluey Learning, tailoring lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
Tutoring Approach:
I conduct my classes in a structured yet flexible way, tailored to each student’s learning needs and goals. Each session begins with a brief review of previous concepts to reinforce retention, followed by a clear explanation of new topics using real-life examples or visual aids where appropriate. I then guide students through practice problems and encourage them to explain their reasoning to check for understanding. Sessions end with targeted feedback and a summary of key takeaways.
