Personal Description:
Now teaching online or at students homes in Jimboomba region, Qld.
I enjoy teaching, encouraging and being a support to my students. I am passionate about the welfare and confidence of my students. I work as a team with my students and their family - and others as needed - to help my students achieve their best.
Tuition Experience:
Over 30 years of tutoring experience through grades K to 12 and university. Extensive work with gifted and support needs.
Music: I have trained students successfully to LMus level and taught ages 3 years to senior at all levels.
Tutoring Approach:
I seek to identify students' strengths and learning styles and match these with their learning needs to help individual students understand their topic areas effectively and quickly. My approach is always student centred and always patient. If I don't know the answer to a question I work with the student to model learning approaches so we can discover together.
In music I help students develop their performance skills and theory knowledge. My students are supported in experiencing passionate and articulate performance. My students have graduated with honours at LMusDip.
