Information about Theana - Bankstown tutor

Personal Description:

Hi! My name is Theana and I tutor students from K-12 at local Sydney libraries, including Bankstown, Greenacre, Campsie and Marrickville Library :)

I am dedicated and diligent in helping students realise their full potential, acquire a thorough knowledge of the subject at hand and enjoy what they learn.

I tutor for specific subjects, such as English and Maths, as well as develop skills in areas such as reading and writing comprehension, essay writing, creative writing and extended responses.

Tuition Experience:

I work casually as a teacher's aid. I also have been providing informal teaching support of infant, primary and high school students for the last 6 years with school homework, NAPLAN preparation, assignments, including essays and creative pieces, and tests.

I have a Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Tutoring Approach:

In our tutor sessions, we will focus on the areas in which students need support, whether content or skills. I can provide assistance with homework and assignments, as well as help the student organise themselves. I tailor our sessions to the individual needs of each student.
