Personal Description:
I enjoy working with students to help improve understanding of concepts covered in the class room, leading to increased confidence and improved marks.
I am a qualified certified practising accountant with CPA Australia (member no. 1606179) and have used this to act as an auditor and Treasurer of a number of not for profit (mainly sport) organisations.
Tuition Experience:
I have tutored students in primary school maths and HSC Economics and feel more than equipped to extend this to Business Studies. I have also coached junior cricket and soccer teams over many years.
All hourly rates for tutoring quoted above are negotiable.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is to reinforce material being covered in the class room. With Economics and Business Studies this is boosted by use of relevant indicators eg. current inflation rate, official cash rate to help apply what is being covered to real world situations. This is also aided by my over 30 years experience in a range of finance and administrative roles in the Government sector.
