Personal Description:
I recently completed my Master’s degree in Chemistry at UCL, where my thesis focused on novel OrganoBoron chemistry. This September, I will be starting a PhD in Chemistry. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I’m passionate about helping students understand chemistry and enjoy learning it. I aim to make complex concepts clear, engaging, and approachable—whether you’re preparing for exams or just looking to boost your confidence in the subject.
Tuition Experience:
I believe that science has answers to most questions one may have at a young age including ‘why and how’. My personal strategies include tying somewhat strange scientific concepts like ‘the second law of thermodynamics’ to real life examples to help students breakdown the overwhelming idea of laws governing the universe into information that is easy to engulf and remember.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to help students gain confidence and build a work ethic that would help them through their current and further studies, by using techniques like active recall and student- led discussion. I help students get more comfortable and familiar with material by challenging their understanding, rather than simply doing work for them.
I strive to make learning science an enjoyable experience, that would primarily teach students how to love and understand science, rather than simply memorise the book and pass the test.

Enter Mila.
From the very first session, Mila made a profound impact. Her ability to explain complex topics in a way that Amelia could actually understand was nothing short of remarkable. She didn’t just tutor; she inspired. Mila’s patience, passion, and tailored approach transformed Amelia’s experience with the subject. She broke everything down into digestible chunks and encouraged Amelia to tackle even the most difficult concepts with confidence.
What really stood out was Mila's ability to build Amelia’s confidence and help her see the potential in herself. Amelia went from doubting her ability to completely acing her exams. Mila’s constant encouragement and innovative teaching methods helped her not only grasp the material but also excel.
When results day arrived, we were absolutely floored to find out Amelia had achieved an A. It was a victory we never thought possible, and it wouldn’t have happened without Mila’s relentless dedication and expertise.
Thank you, Mila, for not only teaching Amelia Chemistry but for teaching her to believe in herself again. You’ve truly changed her academic path, and we are forever grateful!
Her technique resonates with teenagers and her knowledge is truly remarkable.
Her team and the support system with exam prediction is very helpful as well.
Her deep understanding of the subject was evident from the start. Not only did she explain difficult concepts in a way that made them easy to grasp, but her knowledge of the syllabus was exceptional. She knew exactly what topics were likely to come up in the exams and helped me focus on the key areas that would maximise my marks she taught me how to approach every question with a strategic mindset, manage my time efficiently, and tackle the toughest questions with confidence.
Mila’s predictions were spot on. I walked into the exam feeling fully prepared, and I couldn’t believe it when I saw my final grade an A. Her tailored support, from refining my understanding of the subject to coaching me through the exam technique, truly made all the difference.
