Personal Description:
I am currently an ESL Teacher in a primary school. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Japanese/Legal Studies), Graduate Diploma (Education) and a Graduate Diploma (TESOL). I completed the Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English To Speakers of Other Languages) qualification in 2017.
Tuition Experience:
I have been teaching for about 7 years and previously worked in a government organisation in the accounting area. I enjoy teaching the English language to all ages. I am currently registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to improving English language proficiency is to focus on oral language (speaking) before moving on to reading and writing. I have a particular interest in phonemic awareness and building vocabulary.
