I'm Laura, a 37-year-old native French speaker with over ten years of experience teaching the language. My diverse journey has led me to live in Brazil, Australia, Indonesia, and currently, I split my time between France and Costa Rica.
Equipped with two master's degrees, my professional background spans various domains, including French tutoring, marketing, and academic research. Beyond French, I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, offering a unique perspective as I understand firsthand the challenges of learning a foreign language!

***For Beginners: I employ a semi-global method, fostering the creation of good language reflexes while comprehending grammatical structures. Each lesson incorporates a dialogue, audio components, translations (for post-class study), grammatical explanations, and exercises. As soon as feasible, I introduce authentic materials like newspaper articles, books, videos, and audios. I encourage both speaking and writing in French, especially in the initial stages, to ensure a strong foundation.
***For Intermediate and Advanced Students: I tailor lessons to meet the specific needs of each student, whether it involves advanced grammar, intricate papers, exam preparation such as the DELF, or casual conversation sessions resembling chats between old friends.
***For Students Already Studying French: I primarily utilize the student's existing method and complement it with additional materials as needed.
