Personal Description:

I believe that each person is amazing and unique, and it is my privilege to inspire them to be the best they can be. I do this by providing creative, interesting and high-quality learning experiences which encourages students to successfully achieve learning goals. I stimulate a supportive environment through my example, as I encourage students to develop, take risks through immediate, constructive positive feedback.
I also believe that it takes a community to raise a child and my role as a teacher is a partnership with the parents. I achieve this through making myself available to parents and establishing positive relationships.
I am a native English teacher who is passionate about helping others learn.

Tuition Experience:

I have spent several years teaching English in private school in South Korea where I developed and implement fun and exciting programs for students of 4-16 years old.
I have also taught in high ESL schools within the Australian NSW Department of Education where every lesson is differentiated for ESL students.
Most recently I have taught for several years specialising as an ESL teacher with the Australian NSW Department of Education where I became the head of the department at a school and was responsible for developing, implementing and mentoring the whole school programs. As well as leading training sessions for all the classroom teachers on best differentiated practice teaching for ESL students.

Tutoring Approach:

I have spent decades assisting students to develop their skills and confidence in English. As a teacher who specialises in ESL and has had decades of experience helping students succeed, I am confident I can tailor a personalised program to help you or your child gain skills and confidence.
In my practical experience it is crucial that students develop strong foundational skills which will allow them to easily further their English abilities.
I like to make learning relevant and enjoyable for each student to achieve success every lesson by using resources specifically chosen to meet each students learning goals.
Through my years of ESL department head, I have been responsible for the development and implementation of whole school ESL programs where I not only implemented the programs but also mentored other teachers to become the best ESL teacher they could be.
