Bonjour, my name is Hélène and I am a French native speaker.
I lived in Florida for 6 years before moving to Australia.
My experience as a parent of two multilingual children, who recently completed their VCE, has provided me an understanding of the challenges faced by teachers and students in teaching and learning the French language skills.
I have been tutoring since 2015 and I am well equipped to cater to all levels and ages.

I am passionate about sharing the culture and my knowledge of my native language.

I specialize in VCE French oral teaching but I am comfortable tutoring all four language skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading). As a native French speaker I can assist with conversation, correct your prononciation, expand your vocabulary
I can assist with preparation for Year 12 SACs, detailed study, VCE oral and written examinations
Having worked many years at MacRobertson Girls’ High School, a Victorian select-entry school as a French language assistant, I understand the difficulties young students may encounter and how to overcome them. Each lesson will be tailored to meet the individuals’ needs and interests. * I worked many years at MacRobertson Girls High school, a high top school, preparing the Year 12 for the French VCE, notably the oral, but also for their SACs, assessments, assisting the students to feel more confident in enhancing their language skills
* I organised mock tests at MacRob during the year
* I hold a Working with Children Check
