Personal Description:
I have a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Creative Writing and
minoring in Social and Community Studies and a Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary
Education.
Tuition Experience:
I am an English, SOSE, History teacher with experience in Learning Support. I have
worked at Moura State High School primarily with years 8, 9 and 10. I have a working
with Children Blue Card. I have worked with children before, during and after school in a school setting.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in working with children to set and achieve goals through scaffolded learning. I will not only teach students how to write an essay, or the meaning of lines in Shakespeare, but I will aim to teach your child self corrective techniques so that they can become self assessing, independent learners.
