FOUR YEARS' EXPERIENCE WITH PROVEN TRACK RECORD | RAW 50 SS | PREMIER’S AWARD | HONOUR ROLL STUDENT

Hi, I'm Grace, a fourth-year Law and Biomedical Science student at Monash University, achieving a 97.85 ATAR in 2020 and a raw 50 study score and Premier's Award in VCE Italian. I have four years of experience tutoring VCE and junior Italian, English, Biology and Economics, with great success in building student's confidence and helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.

Tuition Experience:

My tutoring style is easygoing and focused on clear and transparent communication. I work with each student to tailor my lessons to their individual needs, learning style, and ability. I have gained a wealth of knowledge over the years from studying and tutoring these subjects, which has allowed me to develop result-driven methods for real improvement and efficient study techniques.

My past VCE students have averaged a 44 study score in their respective subjects, with many of my students improving their grades from the 60's to 80+.

My tutoring involves:
- how to best structure essay and short answer questions to meet the study design requirements
- sharing tips and tricks from VCAA examiners, so you understand what they are looking for
- simplifying and breaking down difficult concepts
- giving detailed feedback on essays and practice questions
- study and exam techniques to maximise your efficiency

I also have many resources including practice SAC's and exams from the current study design I can share. Each student is also provided with a centralised Google Drive Folder and Google Doc where lesson notes will be easily accessible for self-study.

Grace is a wonderful tutor who is very organised and always tries to incorporate enjoyable activities. She always makes sure I am prepared and confident for upcoming assessments, and consistently revised grammar points or topics we have previously worked on. Grace has been excellent as my 3/4 Italian tutor. Her lessons are detailed and varied focusing on all aspects of language - oral skills, listening, reading and writing. Grace’s lessons are flexible and were always personally tailored for my needs and focuses each week. She replies promptly to text messages and is diligent in scheduling lessons. Her passion for the language truly shines through in her classes which encouraged and motivated me through the academic year.
